INGREDIENTS
- 2 3/4 c. all-purpose flour

- 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
- 1 c. (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 3/4 c. granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- Santa hat and beard templates (see below)
- 1 batch royal icing
