Daniela is a dedicated and passionate student from the Bay Area who is gearing up for her freshman year at the University of Texas at San Antonio. However, she has already accepted an offer to transfer to Boston University starting her sophomore year. Daniela's commitment to environmental preservation and her impressive academic background make her an exemplary recipient of this scholarship.

Daniela's Focus: Environmental Science, Medicine, and Business

Daniela's passion for the environment and medicine is evident in her extensive volunteer work and academic pursuits. From organizing health events for low-income households to being a camp counselor for children and adults with autism, Daniela has always aimed to make a significant impact on the world around her. Her essay highlights her involvement in various service projects, including cleaning natural rivers and teaching children about the importance of ecosystems.

She plans to major in Biology with a minor in Business on a pre-med track. Daniela's ultimate goal is to attend medical school and specialize in dermatology, where she hopes to make a difference by treating skin conditions and advancing skin cancer research. Her dedication to education and her drive to help others are truly inspiring.
